Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Ohio is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor who leads with neighbors and their pets, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service and upholding PSP standards.

You will partner with store leaders, cover management shifts up to four days a week, ensure cleanliness, animal care, pricing updates, and back-office tasks while welcoming every customer with a pawsitive attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills are a must.
• Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass drug screening where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist neighbors in choosing toys and products for pets.
• Greet weekly regular Bruno the Chihuahua and his human.
• Demonstrate how to test water in a fish tank.
• Reinforce daily store procedures and performance expectations.
• Support store leaders with back-office tasks and recruiting/development.
• Fill in for manager on duty and perform nail trims when needed.
