Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor in Ohio to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional neighborly service to pets and their families. You will manage frontline activities, train staff, and ensure PSP standards across the store.

The role requires 2+ years of retail experience, strong sales skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks (up to 50 pounds) and forklift operation. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift, and to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedules, reliable transportation, drug screening (where allowed by law) and 18+.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to reinforce PSP standards and daily management routines.
• Provide leadership coverage up to four times a week when managers are offsite.
• Adhere to policies ensuring exceptional neighborly service.
• Perform back office tasks like pricing changes and cashier records.
• Involve in recruiting, onboarding and team development.
• Communicate improvement opportunities to store leaders.
• Act as staff when managers are unavailable.
• Willingness to perform nail trims on pets.
