Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations and deliver top-notch neighborly service in our neighborhood store. You will supervise, support the team, and ensure policies on cleanliness, safety, and animal care are followed while engaging with customers and their pets.

The role requires 2+ years in retail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment including forklift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass drug screening where permitted by law.
• 18 years of age or older with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist neighbors in choosing products and provide neighborly service.
• Greet weekly regular Bruno the Chihuahua and customers.
• Lead by example and reinforce daily operational procedures.
• Provide store leadership coverage up to four times a week.
• Adhere to cleanliness, animal care, safety and security policies.
• Involve in store recruiting, onboarding and team development.
• Assist with back-office tasks like signage and price updates.
• Support team members when not acting as manager-on-duty.
• Willingness to perform nail trims.
