Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Ohio is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor who will lead daily operations, greet neighbors, and ensure outstanding neighborly service for pets and their people.

You will partner with store leaders to reinforce PSP standards, oversee back-office tasks, and help with recruiting, onboarding, and team development while delivering friendly, hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist neighbors in selecting products and provide friendly service.
• Greet regular customers and engage with pets.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and assist with basic store tasks.
• Reinforce daily operational procedures and performance expectations.
• Support store leaders with recruitment, onboarding and team development.
• Communicate improvement opportunities to leadership.
