Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor to lead neighborly service and support the store team in a friendly, pet-friendly environment. You will greet customers, guide product choices for pets, and model PSP standards across daily operations.

Reporting to store leadership, you will cover shifts, ensure cleanliness and safety, assist with back-office tasks, and help recruit and train team members. Join a thriving, community-focused retailer with strong growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service skills expected.
• Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and bend as needed.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide neighborly service and assist customers in selecting products.
• Greet regular customers and engage with pets during visits.
• Demonstrate store leadership by reinforcing daily procedures and standards.
• Support store team leaders with back-office tasks and performance expectations.
• Participate in store recruiting, onboarding and training activities.
• Assist with community engagement and store improvement opportunities.
• Act as a team member when managers are offsite and perform nail trims as needed.
