Job summary

Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC is seeking a part-time Front-of-House Manager to greet patrons, oversee lobby flow, and ensure a warm welcome across all access points during performances.

You will assist with ticketing, box office reception, and data entry, train in Fire/Life/Safety, coordinate with stage and box office teams, and support accessibility services, with weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a customer service role
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced venue
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Greet and guide patrons throughout the facility at all access points
• Complete pre- and post-show tasks to ensure the venue is prepared and clean
• Train in building security and obtain Fire/Life/Safety certifications
• Coordinate with the Stage Manager/Tech Representative and Box Office before a performance
• Provide support for accessibility requests and assistive devices
• Supervise volunteer ushers and manage lobby traffic flow and ticket scanning
• Seat patrons and troubleshoot seating/ticketing issues
• Compile data for End of Day reporting with Production staff
