Job summary

Care New England Health System (Kent Hospital) is seeking an Operations Specialist to be the primary contact for patients and visitors at the main entrance. You will greet guests, check in patients, and assist with wayfinding to registration areas while ensuring privacy and courtesy.

The role includes answering information lines, handling visitor logs, and coordinating transportation for patients. Strong customer service skills and basic IT support are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare customer service, data entry, and IT support.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at hospital main entrance in a warm, professional manner.
• Screen visitors by verifying and scanning IDs into the badging system and issue badges.
• Maintain logs of entries and enforce visitation policies as needed.
• Use Epic lists to identify patient locations and confirm appointment details for accurate patient flow.
• Coordinate with Volunteers and Transport Teams to support transportation needs.
