Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL, seeks a Patient Transporter to move patients and equipment across the hospital. You will assist with wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, and neuro chairs, and help direct patients and visitors throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include transporting equipment, greeting staff and visitors, and supporting staff with lift assists and transfers. Training and safety are emphasized in a busy healthcare environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Mansioni

• Transports patients and equipment throughout the facility as requested.
• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or neuro chair to designated sites.
• Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Delivers equipment to requesting staff or department.
• Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
• Assists staff with lift assists and repositioning of patients when needed.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.
