Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated Transporter to move patients and equipment throughout the Pembroke Pines facility. The role supports clinical staff by assisting with transfers, wheelchairs, stretchers, and bed transports to designated areas while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include aiding with lift assists, greeting patients and visitors, and delivering equipment as requested.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS American Heart Association certification required within 30 days of hire.
• New hires must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Transports patients and equipment throughout the facility.
• Assist staff with lift assists and repositioning.
• Assist patients with entering/exiting vehicles and transfers from wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or neuro chair to designated sites, including patients with monitors/equipment.
• Greet and provide information to patients/visitors.
• Deliver equipment to requesting staff or department.
• Assist with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
