Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a patient transport technician to move patients and equipment throughout the facility. You will greet patients, assist with transfers, and ensure safe handling of oxygen and other medical equipment. The role requires basic life support certification and adherence to safety standards.

New hires must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. The position involves lifting, bending, and standing for long periods, with a day shift schedule in a hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Current BLS card and proof of certification.

Responsabilités

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or neuro chair to designated sites.
• Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
• Delivers equipment to requesting staff or department.
• Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
• Assists staff with lift assists and repositioning of patients when needed.
• Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles, including transfers
