The Shift Manager supports the Department Director(s) and Operations Manager(s) in overseeing daily department services. This role manages operational activities and staff performance, implementing departmental programs and procedures within THOMAS JEFFERSON UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.

The Shift Manager plans, organizes, and evaluates department activities 24/7, providing feedback on strategic goals and process improvements. Collaboration with Hospital Managers ensures optimal throughput, and the role involves identifying opportunities for process improvements and assisting in addressing issues impacting outcomes.

This position works with hospital leadership to meet productivity, quality, customer, and patient satisfaction goals. It involves implementing cost reduction strategies aligned with hospital policies and developing staff to ensure program quality and growth. Job Description

• Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
