Quality Production Supervisor
This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business helping our network of local cooperatives, independent dealers and other large retailers serve producers, and animal owners throughout the United States. Through industry -leading R&D and committed partnerships, we innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.
The Quality Production Supervisor will administer our quality programs, ensuring safe animal feed is produced in a manufacturing environment along with providing support in our production process by coordinating production, ingredient processing, taking the forefront in safety and quality, employee engagement and coaching and compliance with regulatory needs.
Our QA practices are housed in our QMS (Quality Management System). Following these practices, you will be able to implement new policies as regulations change as well as maintain existing practices. You will also interact with the production staff, providing coaching and training on quality standards, HACCP, and other regulatory initiatives. You will also lead continuous improvement projects and also provide root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve issues.
