POSITION OVERVIEW:

Hussey Seating Companys Installation Supervisors provide leadership for the successful completion of telescopic and fixed spectator seating projects including professional sporting venues, convention and civic centers, as well as colleges and universities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is able to build customer loyalty through the execution of quality solutions in a professional manner.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Personnel Supervision

• Lead by example and create followership with your team.
• Enforce all safety regulations, work procedures, and enforcement of the company Drug Policy. Must be able to establish and enforce a safety culture within the crew.
• Responsible for work crew personal conduct.
• Establish and maintain training procedures for installation crew and ensure safety training takes place prior to the start of the installation.

Installation Management

• Complete system installation on schedule and within the allotted hour estimate
• Provide assessment of worksite and resolve any potential issues.
• Install telescopic seating and chairs according to drawings and proactively resolve any concerns with Project Manager/Engineer.
• Provide job instructions to each crew member.
• Utilize RAKEN/PROCORE for project reporting for daily logs and safety JHA/training.
• Continuously improve efficiency and utilization of crew
• Monitor labor and material costs and report concerns/risks to Project Manager.
• Ensure completion of job including inspections, operations staff training, and reporting.
• Able to travel up to 80% of time to various locations.

• Must be comfortable discussing the installation process with customers, dealers, and other installers.
• Communicate clearly and productively with all coworkers, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Facilitate the resolution of jobsite discrepancies and disputes.
• Effectively use available technology to document progress, site issues, safety reporting, and HR requirements.
• Strong mechanical and organizational skills, with attention to details.
• Represent HSC in a positive, proactive manner through the demonstration of excellent customer service and site management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years in building/commercial construction
• Blueprint reading
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Able to safely operate power tools and equipment.
• Construction safety training preferred; will be required to become OSHA 30, forklift, aerial lift and fall protection certified.
• Strong ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships, acting as a liaison with customers, coworkers, and management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Walking, standing more than 50% of the time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working Conditions: At customer sites - both indoors and outdoors; new construction and renovation. In house office environment
