Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Telephone Page Associate to join our in-person evening team, working every other weekend and holidays from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. You will answer all incoming lines, route calls, handle urgent medical emergencies, update the contact database, greet callers, take messages, and ensure confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of customer service experience; call center experience is a plus; we offer a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High-school or GED diploma required.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• Data entry, data processing and general computer experience.
• Call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming lines on switchboard and connect to appropriate extension.
• Escalate calls to other team members as appropriate.
• Handle special and priority calls such as medical emergencies and code alerts.
• Provide information to the public or refer to appropriate parties.
• Update contact database and profiles with current information.
• Greets callers, takes messages, and delivers messages promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Provide in-person answering service support outside business hours.
