Tower Health's St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a Telephone Operator to handle incoming calls, route inquiries, and page on-call physicians. The role emphasizes providing accurate information and coordinating with hospital staff during emergencies.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, relevant experience in telephone communications, and strong customer service and multitasking skills. Weekend shifts every other weekend from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Relevant Telephone Communications Experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Answer and direct all incoming outside and in-house calls.
• Provide approved patient information upon request and page on-call physicians and services.
• Keep on-call schedules updated in the hospital paging system and alert staff to medical emergencies.
