The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to handle high volumes while remaining calm and empathetic. Training provided and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and entry.
• Experience with collections is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to handle high patient volumes and stay organized.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Previous check-in experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors; check-in, registration, and check-out.
• Verify insurance eligibility and scheduling of appointments.
• Prepare charts and review for upcoming appointments.
• Maintain patient accounts with up-to-date personal and financial information.
• Keep the reception area welcoming and professional.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Handle inquiries and coordinate with providers as needed.
