Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Insurance guidelines knowledge; entry experience helpful.
• Experience in financial collections is optional.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients; check-in/check-out; insurance verification; scheduling; prep charts.
• Maintain professional communication with staff and providers.
• Maintain a pleasant demeanor while performing duties.
• Welcome visitors; answer inquiries in person or on the phone.
• Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and provider time.
• Notify providers of arrivals and delays; keep on schedule.
