Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a Patient Support Coordinator in Juneau, AK. You will answer calls, manage patient queries, navigate patients, and schedule appointments with strong phone etiquette and data accuracy.

This role supports multiple SEARHC locations and requires prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. We value confidentiality, exceptional customer service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of office or customer service experience.
• 1 year call center or medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of data accuracy and privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for patient inquiries via phone and scheduling.
• Coordinate appointments for patients across Southeast Alaska.
• Review and enter demographic and insurance data into the electronic health record.
• Coordinate benefits when multiple insurance carriers are used.
• Refer uninsured patients to a Financial Counselor for resolution.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all communications.
