Ethos Labs seeks a Specimen Collection Specialist to collect urine, nasal swabs, and blood in physician offices, ensuring specimen integrity and accurate data entry into EMR/LIS.

You will ship specimens, follow SOPs, maintain safety, and coordinate with clinic staff; prior phlebotomy experience preferred; HS diploma and reliable transportation required; role permits independent work with remote supervision.

Qualifications

• 2 years of medical office or laboratory collection experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience or CPT certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a patient-facing setting with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collect urine samples and enter data in LIS/EMR.
• Collect anterior nasal swabs for Covid-19 testing when requested.
• Draw blood following venipuncture protocols.
• Label specimens and ship to the laboratory.
• Maintain specimen integrity and follow SOPs.
• Assist with scheduling and clinic communications.
• Maintain PPE and safety compliance.
• Work independently with remote supervision.
