Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking an onsite Medical Assistant to bridge administrative prep and provider care. You will ensure patients are clinically ready, perform intake, rooming, screenings, and medication checks, and manage EMR tasks to keep clinical flow uninterrupted.

With a focus on patient education and TB screening, you will communicate clearly, support the care team, and adapt to evolving clinic needs while meeting state requirements and shift hours.

Qualifications

• Basic anatomy knowledge and computer literacy needed.
• HIPAA and safety policies, including privacy protections.
• Immunization protocols and vaccination administration.
• Infection prevention and OSHA standards.
• POCT and specimen handling standards.
• Current Medical Assistant certification or certification in progress.

Responsibilities

• Intake and clinical rooming with vital signs, screenings, and medication/allergy checks.
• EMR inbox management with routing rules for messages, labs and adherence follow-ups.
• Education and loop-back to confirm patient understanding of next steps.
