Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to streamline the patient journey from intake to exam room. You will verify medications and allergies, document patient history, and perform validated screenings, enabling physicians to focus on clinical decisions with confidence.

The onsite role includes managing EMR inbox tasks, patient education, and loop-back to ensure patient understanding, while maintaining accuracy across routine duties in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Intake & Clinical Rooming: perform intake, verify medications and allergies, document history, conduct screenings.
• Inbox & Worklist Management: manage EMR inbox with routing for messages, labs, and meds follow-ups; aim for same-day touch.
• Education & Loop-Back: ensure patient understanding by asking them to repeat instructions.
• Support across care teams: work with clinicians to maintain clinical flow and patient safety.
