Job summary

Humana, Inc. invites applications for an onsite Medical Assistant role at CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Arizona. You will provide clinical readiness, vital signs, and patient support to ensure the care team can focus on medical decision-making.

You will perform clinical prep, screenings, medication verification, and EMR management while maintaining patient safety and HIPAA compliance. TB screening may be required; a rewarding benefits package accompanies a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Basic anatomy knowledge.
• HIPAA and safety policies; computer literacy.
• Immunization protocols and vaccination administration.
• Infection prevention and OSHA standards.
• POCT and specimen handling standards.
• Experience with Primary Care clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of value-based care concepts (HEDIS, CPT/ICD).

Responsibilities

• Intake and clinical rooming with PHQ-9 and Fall Risk screenings.
• Manage EMR inbox and patient communications with same-day touchpoints.
• Educate patients using loop-back methods to confirm understanding of next steps.
