Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical readiness through rooming, screenings, and patient education. You will manage EMR inbox tasks, verify medications and allergies, and ensure timely patient readiness before provider visits.

This patient-facing role participates in TB screening and requires valid MA and BLS certifications, with a focus on accuracy, empathy, and teamwork in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Basic anatomy knowledge.
• Computer literacy and privacy protections.
• Immunization protocols and vaccine administration.
• Infection prevention and OSHA standards.
• POCT and specimen handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Intake and Clinical Rooming: verify medications and allergies, perform screenings like PHQ-9 and Fall Risk.
• Inbox and Worklist Management: manage EMR inbox with routing rules, aim for same-day touch.
• Education and Loop-Back: confirm patient understanding of next steps to reduce rework.
• Note: role is patient-facing and TB screening program participant.
