Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Medical Assistant to work onsite, reporting to the Supervisor, Central Administration. You will handle both administrative and clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, administering vaccines, and collecting specimens in a busy clinic.

You will collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers, document in the EMR, and maintain clean examination rooms. TB screening is required due to program policies.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and administer medications and vaccines.
• Sterilize equipment, prep exam rooms, and document in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Deliver patient care within active certification scope.
• Decisions focus on policy interpretation and method completion.
• Prioritize tasks within defined parameters, with some latitude.
• Follow standard procedures allowing interpretation/deviation.
