Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Patient Specialist in an onsite CenterWell Senior Primary Care setting to ensure patients are prepared for their visit. You will support clinicians by verifying medications, allergies, and histories, and by managing patient messages to maintain smooth clinical flow.

The role emphasizes patient education, loop-back verification, and effective communication. Requires MA training or 3+ years in similar settings, BLS may be required, and work hours are full-time.

Responsibilities

• Intake & Clinical Rooming: verify meds, allergies, patient history and perform validated screenings.
• Inbox & Worklist Management: manage EMR inbox and ensure same-day touch for tasks.
• Education & Loop-Back: verify patient understanding by having them repeat instructions to reduce errors.
