PathGroup in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Patient Services Technician to support the Patient Services Center and in-office operations. You will perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing with accuracy and on time, while interacting professionally with clients, patients, and staff.

You will collect specimens, enter data into PathConnect, follow safety procedures, and maintain logs.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (may be required by state guidelines).
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (Required in Louisiana).
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers appropriately and maintain a courteous environment.
• Collect specimens accurately and on time following procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection steps clearly to patients.
• Enter patient, specimen, and billing information into PathConnect.
• Maintain daily records and logs for PSC/IOPST activities.
• Adhere to PPE guidelines and lab safety procedures.
