Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (state guidelines may vary).
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (required in Louisiana).
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and professionally.
• Collect specimens accurately and on time per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process calmly to patients.
• Enter patient and test information into PathConnect and other systems.
• Maintain records, logs, and monthly statistics.
• Adhere to PPE and laboratory safety policies.
