Job summary

PathGroup in Georgia is seeking a Patient Services Technician to support the PSC or In-office PST under the area supervisor. You will perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing with professionalism.

The role involves direct interaction with clients and patients, maintaining accurate records, and complying with safety and privacy requirements. A high school diploma is preferred, plus phlebotomy certification where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (may be required by state guidelines).
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred; required in Louisiana.
• At least 1 year of prior related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and treat all customers courteously.
• Ensures all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and reduce anxiety.
• Enter patient, specimen, insurance, or billing information with high accuracy.
• Maintain PSC/IOPST logs and compile monthly statistics.
