Job summary

DAP Health in San Jacinto, CA is seeking a Patient Services Representative to deliver exceptional customer service at the front desk of the San Jacinto Health Center.

Under supervision, you will greet patients, register new or returning patients, verify information, assist with MyChart, and coordinate scheduling and insurance eligibility. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; prior medical front office experience is a plus. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in medical front office operations preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance/referrals is a plus.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross is required or current.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Register new patients and those re-engaging in care.
• Collect documents for patient registration and verify demographics.
• Schedule appointments and manage confirmations.
• Handle insurance eligibility verification and ROI intake.
• Assist patients with MyChart and digital devices.
• Maintain HIPAA compliant patient records in the EHR.
• Answer patient inquiries via phone or in person.
