Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Patient Service Rep in an outpatient medical office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service through intake, prioritizing, and resolution of calls for a multi-specialty team.
• Greets patients and assists with resolving patient issues.
• Check-in and out patients and collect co-payments, receipts, and reconcile payments; verifies demographic and insurance data in CS-Link.
• Schedules appointments, completes patient registration, collects payments and provides a high standard of service.
• Assists with management of physician schedules and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Processes and tracks referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
• Manages patient flow and monitors CS-Link message pools and standard work.
• Explains policies and procedures to patients using administrative knowledge.
• Participates in daily huddles and staff meetings; promotes infection prevention standards.
