Responsibilities include managing calls, verifying insurance, guiding patients through paperwork, and supporting the care team with accurate communications and timely follow-ups. A strong customer service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate professionally.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient keyboarding and Windows-based software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of patient scheduling, including in-person and virtual visits.
• Manage multi-line phone system and direct urgent calls appropriately.
• Verify insurance coverage and educate patients on co-insurance and copays.
• Enroll patients on the patient portal and explain its use.
• Coordinate interpreter services as needed.
• Greet patients and assist with paperwork and check-in.
• Respond to patient requests within organizational timelines.
• Coordinate messages between staff and providers and care teams.
• Manage appointment queues and outreach communications.
• Support health information management with record requests and scanning.
