Job summary

Saint Luke’s Medical Oncology Clinic in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.

Responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, handling copays, verifying insurance, and updating electronic records in Epic. This is a full-time day position in the United States of America.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience in a medical office or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone and communicates messages via email or Epic.
• Greets, registers and schedules patient appointments.
• Collects patient copays, makes reminder calls, verifies insurance and updates data in the electronic chart.
• Provides backup across medical office tasks and floats between locations as needed, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
