Job summary

Saint Luke’s Medical Oncology Clinic in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.

Shift Details: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Responsibilities include answering the telephone, routing messages, greeting and scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient co-pays, verifying insurance, and supporting multiple locations as needed

Qualifications

• Applicable experience: Less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone and communicates messages through email or Epic.
• Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments.
• Collects patient co-pays, makes appointment reminder calls, verifies insurance and other patient data, scans/uploads information to the patient’s electronic chart.
• Provides backup for other office positions and functions, and can float between locations as assigned.
