Precision Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join their team in a full-time, in-person role. The position focuses on accurately gathering and inputting critical data for new patients and initial evaluations, scheduling according to client instructions, and maintaining authorizations.

Duties include daily task planning, phone handling, insurance verifications, and delivering messages with care.

Qualifications

• Computer skills required: Database Software (Access); Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Human Resource Systems; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook).
• Ability to perform insurance verifications and authorizations for all insurances according to standard.
• Demonstrate on the job knowledge of how to deal with upset patients.
• Excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Plans Patient Services Representative work for the day with team lead.
• Checks messages and distributes accordingly
• Performs Patient Services Representative call duty; answers the phones with a pleasant demeanor, no later than the third ring, with the appropriate client designation, and messages need to be delivered appropriately and noted in patient accounts.
• Communicates with client any emergency information immediately.
• Performs daily closing procedures (clean workstation).
• Maintains a weekly self-assessment and discusses with team leader.
• Performs specific daily tasks on the day they are assigned
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
