York County Community Action Corp is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join Nasson Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center with clinics in Springvale and Biddeford, Maine. The PSR will be the first point of contact, handling patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and front desk support in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical or dental office is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and phone skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient registration and insurance verification.
• Appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out.
• Managing incoming calls and electronic communications.
• Patient account support and administrative duties.
• Scanning documents, running reports, and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing clear explanations of services, programs, and eligibility requirements.
