Qualifications

• Two years of experience working as a Patient Service Rep in an outpatient medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service through effective intake and resolution of calls for a multi-specialty team.
• Greets patients and assists with resolving issues or concerns.
• Check-in/check-out patients, collect co-payments and reconcile payments; verify demographics and insurance data in CS-Link.
• Schedules appointments, completes patient registration, and handles patient payments.
• Assists with physician schedules and handles patient/provider correspondence.
• Processes referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
• Manages patient care flow and monitors CS-Link message pools.
• Promotes infection prevention standards and department policies.
