Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation on preparatory and safety protocols and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely care.
• Safeguard patient property and health information on-site.
• Safeguard medications according to policies and laws.
• Respect company property and patient financial information on-site or via portals.
• Be professional and responsive to patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in clinical settings.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
