Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians,Inc is seeking a Patient Service Representative to act as the first point of contact for patients, providing friendly service across in-person, telehealth, and phone interactions.

The role covers check-in, insurance verification, copay collection, scheduling, and front office support, with HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data and potential EPIC duties. Full-time, various shifts across Columbus area.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; or at least six months of healthcare or customer service experience.
Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
1 year of administrative healthcare experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.

Responsabilités

Greet patients and complete check-in procedures, including data entry and insurance verification.
Collect copays, deductibles and outstanding balances; schedule follow-ups at checkout.
Answer calls and emails from patients and COPC departments; route or escalate as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; assist with EPIC duties as required.
Assist with referrals, pre-certifications and patient portal usage; support front desk tasks.
Perform general clerical duties and contribute to a positive patient experience.
