Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Columbus, OH. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a positive patient experience during visits, telehealth, or calls.

You will greet patients, complete registrations, verify insurance, collect payments, and assist with scheduling. Strong communication, HIPAA knowledge, and EPIC experience are essential. This is a full-time role with benefits eligible at multiple site locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or at least six months healthcare or customer service experience.
• Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
• Minimum one year of administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with patient check-in, data entry, and insurance verification.

Responsabilités

• Ensure patients have a positive experience during visits, in person, telehealth or by phone.
• Greet patients and complete check-in procedures including data entry and insurance verification.
• Collect copays, deductibles and outstanding balances.
• Check-out patients and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Answer calls and emails, route inquiries and reminders as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks: filing, scanning, mail, reports, and general support.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and ensure patient privacy.
• Work with front office duties and EPIC as assigned.
• Support referrals and pre-certifications when required.
