Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT seeks a Patient Service Representative (PRN) to greet and assist patients, verify information, schedule appointments, and process registrations. This role emphasizes compassionate service, accurate data entry in the EMR, and ensuring privacy of PHI throughout patient interactions.

Entry rate ranges from $18.31 to $23.80 per hour, with benefits eligibility.

Formación

Six months of customer service experience.
Basic computer skills with word processing and data entry.
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.
Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers.

Responsabilidades

Provide courteous, professional connections with patients by phone, in person, or via secure messaging.
Document all calls accurately in the EMR.
Schedule appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data.
Assist with insurance information and forms, including pre-certifications when needed.
Educate patients on financial aspects and facilitate payments as appropriate.
Stay informed on role responsibilities and performance expectations.
