Job summary

Allergy Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Charlottesville satellite team. You will register patients, verify insurance, and collect payments while supporting a smooth front-desk flow.

The role requires strong customer service, professional communication, and accuracy in scheduling and charting. Experience with medical offices and HIPAA guidelines is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or customer service position.
• Proven success asking for payment, making change, and balancing a cash drawer.
• Bi-lingual is a plus, not required.
• Familiarity with scheduling and electronic health record software; GE Centricity is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; neat, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Answer the telephone professionally and schedule appointments.
• Collect payment at the time of service and balance daily transactions.
• Prepare patients for visits and ensure correct patient charts in the system.
• Maintain reception area and support front office duties.
