Allergy Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Summerville, SC practice. This role focuses on greeting patients, scheduling, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate patient records to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will balance daily transactions, verify insurance details, and support both front desk and office functions while providing friendly, patient-centered service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or customer service position.
• Proven success asking for payment, making change, and balancing a cash drawer.
• Working knowledge of basic managed care terminology and practices.
• Familiarity with scheduling and rearranging appointments effectively.
• Bi-lingual a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone professionally and schedules appointments.
• Screens visitors and responds to routine information requests.
• Maintains front office equipment and supplies.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information for new and established patients.
• Check out patients and collect payment; balance daily transactions.
