HAPPI Health is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Specialist to support our busy medical clinics. The role emphasizes exceptional patient interaction, accurate data entry, and efficient front-desk operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing check-in/out, coordinating appointments, maintaining records, answering inquiries, and handling insurance verification and copays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Familiarity with medical coding practices and terminology is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems; experience with Athena is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the practice.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athena.
• Address patient inquiries regarding services, procedures, and office policies.
• Verify insurance eligibility and take copays from patients.
• Answer multi-line phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
