Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 2 to join our front-office team. The role concentrates on patient relations, registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and courteous phone support to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will assist with check-in/out, collect and verify insurance information, direct patients to waiting areas, and help train junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening and communication abilities.
• Experience in patient-facing roles or front desk preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and visitors with check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone inquiries.
• Register patients, verify demographics, and direct to waiting areas.
• Process payments, post charges, and generate daily payment reports.
• Respond to routine inquiries about services and hours; handle patient complaints.
• Support medical records tasks and mentor junior staff as needed.
