You will manage patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and assist with routine inquiries, ensuring patient-centered care.

The role also involves handling payments, posting charges, aiding with medical records, and mentoring junior staff.

Formación

• Excellent listening, social, and communication skills; professional telephone etiquette.
• Knowledge of patient registration procedures and documentation.
• Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assists patients and visitors with check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phone inquiries.
• Registers patients by collecting and verifying insurance information and directs patients to waiting areas.
• Manages payments for services, posts charges, and generates daily payment reports; discusses financial arrangements when needed.
• Responds to routine inquiries about services, hours, and operation; handles patient complaints appropriately.
• Aids with medical records duties, pulls charts for appointments and transfers; supports training of junior staff.
