Qualifications

• Six months of medical front-office experience in patient registration and scheduling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred Medical Office Specialist certification.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a caring manner.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments to maximize clinic efficiency.
• Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect at time of service.
• Educate patients on billing processes and out-of-pocket costs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• May supervise assigned support staff.
