Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Experience in front desk or healthcare customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient relations, check-in and check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
• Assist with patient registration by collecting and verifying insurance information and directing patients to waiting areas.
• Accept payments for services and post charges in the system.
• Generate daily payment reports and reconcile cash drawer.
• Provide accurate patient, medical, financial or procedural information to patients and approved entities.
• Discuss financial arrangements with patients when needed.
• Respond to routine inquiries about practice services and hours.
• Assist with medical records duties as requested.
