Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to verify insurance information and handle payments.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient duties including check-in/check-out, scheduling and referrals.
• Verify insurance information and register patients accurately.
• Accept payments and post charges following guidelines.
• Provide information to patients and approved entities.
• Answer phones and direct patients to appropriate areas.
• Respond to routine inquiries about hours and services.
• Support medical records duties as requested.
