Valley Health System is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients within the physicians’ network. You will schedule outpatient appointments, collect demographic and insurance information, handle payments, and support the ambulatory care team with exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry in Epic, strong communication, and a courteous, patient‑centered approach in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience required; degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient appointments and manage wait lists.
• Greet patients and support front desk operations.
• Obtain and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Process payments and balance cash drawer.
• Handle telephone inquiries and document messages.
• Maintain patient health information confidentiality.
• Cover other locations as needed.
