Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience required; Associate's degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Customer service experience preferred; strong computer, customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient appointments and referrals following guidelines.
• Greet and assist patients at front desk with a friendly, courteous manner.
• Collect demographic and financial information for registration and billing.
• Process payments and balance cash drawer; verify insurance eligibility.
• Answer phones promptly, take messages, and relay requests to the appropriate team.
• Prepare and handle medical records requests and HIM-related tasks.
